The only top AGL side the continues to have a lesser focus on foreigners and to their benefit, they have all the firepower they need within the local set-up. And if its not Ali Mabkhout who propels the club, they have others like Fares Juma.

Latest result: Won against Dibba Al Fujairah 2-0
Next AGL match: Away at Al Shabab (3/12)

Not something that your average neutral would expect from a massive Dubai derby. Make no mistake, though: This was a disappointing game for Al Wasl.
LAST WEEK: 1
HIGH: 1 | LOW: 10
Latest result: Draw against Al Ahli 0-0
Next AGL match: Away at Al Ain (4/12)

Al Ain got the win, which is always nice. But they also whipped in several attacks with one being converted by a defender, which suggests they need A) their offense to man up, and B) a tactical re-think. Have ample time to catch up with the league leaders. Ample. Omar Abdul Rahman – cannot praise his left foot enough.
LAST WEEK: 5
HIGH: 2 | LOW: 5
Latest result: Won at Al Dhafra 2-1
Next AGL match: Home against Al Wasl
(4/12)

Dropped the ball against Emirates and just like Al Shabab drew 4 and three of those against lower tier teams. A win would have set them up perfectly for upcoming games against Al Ahli and Al Ain.
LAST WEEK: 3
HIGH: 3 | LOW: 9
Latest result: Draw against Emirates 0-0
Next AGL match: Away at Al Ahli (3/12)

Al Shabab has had 3 draws throughout the season and two of them have come against lower tier teams including Hatta. Not characteristic of a title hopeful squad. But round of applause for the respect shown to former coach – Caio Junior who passed away in the terrible plane crash while traveling with his Chapecoense side to Colombia for the Sudamericana Finals.
LAST WEEK: 6
HIGH: 1 | LOW: 8
Latest result: Won at Hatta 0-0
Next AGL match: Home against Al Jazira (3/12)

Got thrown a curve ball by Al Jazira a few weeks ago and since have not managed to turn it around. Al Ahli need to prove their credentials, but as shocking as it may seem, they’re missing both Gyan and a healthy Lima right now.
LAST WEEK: 4
HIGH: 1 | LOW: 6
Latest result: Draw at Al Wasl 0-0
Next AGL match: Home against Al Wahda (3/12)

Systematically dispatched Ittihad which is not surprising. Good to see Tariq Ahmed, Kembo-Ekoko & Pitroipa get on the scoresheet after a quite a while.
LAST WEEK: 6

Latest result: Won at Ittihad Kalba 5-1
Next AGL match: Home against Hatta (4/12)

Gelmin Rivas finally showed his calibre after bagging his first hat-trick of the season. Is this what Sharjah needed to repel themselves up the league.
LAST WEEK: 11

Latest result: Draw against Baniyas 4-1
Next AGL match: Away at Emirates (3/12)

Were hard done by the very soft penalty after putting up a very strong fight. The test is to move on from here understanding the importance of what’s to come.
LAST WEEK: 8

Latest result: Lost against Al Ain 1-2
Next AGL match: Away at Dibba Al Fujairah (4/12)

To earn a point at home, against a team that is on form, deserves Kudos. Still holding on strong to their spot in the middle of the table.
LAST WEEK: 9
HIGH: 7 | LOW: 14
Latest result: Draw against Al Shabab 0-0
Next AGL match: Away at Al Nasr (4/12)

Nothing new here. Just another club apart from Baniyas and Emirates, who are yet to win a game this season.
LAST WEEK: 10
HIGH: 6 | LOW: 11
Latest result: Lost at Al Jazira 0-2
Next AGL match: Home against Al Dhafra (4/12)

The breakdowns at the back are bothersome, but the lack of a top notch attack is the real problem. Is it time to panic? Not just yet.
LAST WEEK: 12
HIGH: 12 | LOW: 13
Latest result: Draw against Al Nasr 1-5
Next AGL match: Away at Baniyas (4/12)

Seems like this squad is content with earning points in the form of ‘draws’. Luckily for them to be safe, they just need to hope the two others above them lose two games and Emirates themselves draw a few.
LAST WEEK: 13
HIGH: 12 | LOW: 14
Latest result: Lost at Al Wahda 0-0
Next AGL match: Home against Sharjah (3/12)

Started off in the right direction with that Larrivey goal. Then were driven off track by a certain Venezuelan named Gelmin Rivas.
LAST WEEK: 14
HIGH: 9 | LOW: 14
Latest result: Lost at Sharjah 1-4
Next AGL match: Home against Ittihad Kalba (4/12)
