Sort of a trend developing with Al Nassr seemingly turning things around in the 2nd half in terms of mentality. A deserved 3 points but how about this absolute stunner from Victor Ayala?

Were always pitted to win at home against Al Batin but wouldn’t have realized that it would take 73 mins to break the deadlock. The afterglow stemming from Fahad Al Muwallad’s glittering form keeps Ittihad alight as a whole. |

Was not an easy night. Took 89 mins to break Fateh club. But the indication of a top team is that you get the win even if you forgot how to score goals – and that’s what Al Hilal displayed. |

Another week, another win for Christian Gross’s light green squad. The lanky Syrian striker keeps bagging but the power – Omar Al Somah is able to generate on his kicks is just fantastic. |

A 93rd minute free-kick by Ismael Al Maghrabi and the resulting deflection off the wall is what it took to ease the anxiety of Sami Al Jaber and to a larger extent – the fans. A win is a win no matter how it comes. |

Finally put an end to their 3 game winless streak against lower tier teams having placed them on a higher pedestal early on the season. Huge relief for Eelco Schattorie. Next few games provide an opportunity to wrap up 6 points before December. |

Diligent display of their stature in the first half taking the lucky lead into the dressing room. But then either looked a little too comfortable or just did not realize the change in mentality of Nasrawi’s as they walked out on the pitch. Succumbed t defensive lag in clearing the ball at multiple occasions. |

Al Wehda fans better hope this isn’t the beginning of their bubble being burst. Played against the champions yet had their chances which they failed to convert. Power Rankings believe if they’d manage to score the first goal, things might have been a little different. |

The only positive to come out of this for Al Faisaly is GK Mustafa Malayekah deserves a round of applause for keeping the team in the game. Other than that, nothing really entertaining although they were in a position to do something exciting with the ball in the offense. |

Must feel good to end the three game losing streak. But then again, they do not seem like a team that will last long in the top division. No structure or any sort of entertainment to their game at all. They will have to change that soon or they might even lose the few fans that come to the stadium. |

It was way too early to get carried away with this team after a string of good performances a few weeks ago. However, mistakes are catching up. The defense looked sloppy being quite semi-amateurish in their clearances while showing signs of no confidence on the ball. The first goal should never have been as GK Mazyad Al Enazi had enough time to either hold it or clear it out. Well, another day another side of Al Batin. |
