Extended their 12 game domestic league streak. The champions deserve to top the rankings. Did it comfortably with the ‘Afro-man’ looking tenacious. |

Al Ahli were always the favorites here but did not expect them to butcher Fujairah. 3 from Hammadi, 2 each from Lima and Ribeiro. All the new pieces to the team fit perfectly. No clean sheet though. Reminiscent!! |

That Tagliabúe guy is pretty decent, isn’t he? We suspect that if he stays healthy, things will look promising for Al Wahda. |

Three points at road is never a bad result especially when it comes against a team like Al Jazira. Al Wasl surely continued on its impressive momentum built in the second half of last season. |

Surely, Al Ahli must have noticed their ex midfield general, Chilean (sorry) Palestinian Luis Jimenez score a brace!! But an expected start for the President’s and League Cup winners. |

One of the four Dubai based teams to come out with a hard fought, well-deserved win. Next few fixtures will set the tone on their resolve in finishing up better than they did last season (3rd). |

Was definitely an awakening for new manager Abel Braga but those defensive woes from last season – one may think when would they learn? But quite sure Vučinić will not remain quite for long. |

They have the man up front to get the goals in the form of Wanderley Santos but still lack the few that Wanderley could rely on for some quality balls. |

‘Just an unfortunate opening day match which included fuzzy math’ – Love it hahaha. Had the worst and don’t think its over for Fujairah. But think Al Ahli should be on top.
Al Nasr is better than Al Wasl. Why Al Nasr down?
