Friday’s night’s Serie A game between Napoli and Juventus, two teams that do not shy away from going gung-ho at each other, provided the entertainment that was expected. These top two teams in Serie A currently, were only devoid of high scoring goals. Otherwise, it showed skills, passion and mostly, the not-so-clean-but-still-clean viciousness of a derby.
In between the latter part of the previous statement, Napoli’s Edinson Cavani and Juventus’s defender Giorgio Chiellini went at each other consistently, only to shake hands in a good show of sportsmanship.

This is what Chiellini had to say at the end of the game:
“What happened can be seen on the footage,”
“We spoke afterwards and it’s only right that for 90 minutes we knock each other about, but at the final whistle it’s all over. It stays on the pitch and is a great challenge to be taking on champions.”
