The talented 21 year old UAE national team player Theyab Awana passed away following a fatal car accident.
Theyab Awana came into limelight for his famous back heel penalty that he scored in UAE’s 7 – 2 rout of Lebanon recently. The Bani Yas winger was scheduled to travel to Germany on Monday to receive treatment for an injury he picked up against Australia in a recent Olympic game qualifier.
